A ZIP contains a directory describing its entries. Reading that directory can show filenames and declared sizes before file data is decompressed. Previewing or downloading an entry then extracts that entry.

Browse PDF pages locally; download password-protected PDFs to open in a PDF app. Long text is limited to the first 300 KB; download the file to read all of it. Markup and code are displayed as text, and listing a ZIP does not scan it for viruses.

Selected files and passwords stay on your device. Browser memory and archive compression methods affect what can be processed. Use a desktop archiver for large backups, split volumes or filesystem metadata that must be restored exactly.

Can I search inside documents?
