Open RAR without installing an archiver
RAR is an archive format that bundles multiple files and folders. Your browser loads the extraction engine from this site, then reads the archive locally. The archive is not uploaded to Cloudflare.
RAR versions, passwords and split volumes
The engine can read common RAR and RAR5 archives. Compression methods and encrypted headers vary; an error may require a desktop archiver. Multipart sets such as part1.rar and part2.rar must be opened together in a compatible desktop tool. Renaming a volume does not turn it into a complete archive.
Local processing, practical limits
Selected files and archive passwords stay on your device. Browser memory, archive size and compression method affect what can be processed. The tool shows its current limits and reports unsupported or unsafe archives. Use a desktop archiver for large backups, multipart sets or filesystem metadata that must be restored exactly.
